The Institute is wholly supported by auto insurers. The IIHS allows consumers to view side-by-side comparisons of crash tests performed on a wide range of makes and models. The IIHS rates vehicle safety as good, acceptable, marginal or poor.

Reversing Visibility Index - Produced by NRMA - a part of Insurance Australia Group (IAG)- Australia Reversing Visibility Index measures how well a driver can see out the back of a car. Limited US make/model available.
